Gunung Mulu Introduction
Gunung Mulu National Park is in Sarawak on the island Borneo, near the border with Brunei. Considering Mulu’s spectacular scenery and its biological significance, it was not surprising that Mulu was successfully listed as a World Heritage site in November 2000. Most visitors come to Mulu for the caves, but there are also good jungle and mountain trekking options in the area. Guides are obligatory for all cave visits and most treks.
