Tad Lo Introduction

Tad Lo is actually in Salavan Province, but most commonly visited on trips based from Pakse. Tad Lo is a pretty area where there are three waterfalls 85 km from Pakse and is a popular destination for both locals and Thais who cross the border to visit at weekends. It’s a tranquil, rural area with good examples of house built in traditional styles, and it’s also an entry point into the Bolaven Plateau. The plateau is crossed by several rivers and has many scenic waterfalls. The whole region is over 1000 m above sea level and has lots of rain and a relatively fresh climate.
