One kilometer from the peaceful town of Kaki Bukit, northwest of Perlis, is Gua Kelam. Kaki Bukit was once a small township engaged in underground tin mining. It is believed to have been hollowed out from a limestone massif by an underground stream over a long period of time.
Gua Kelam is literally translated as the “Dark Caves”. Gua Kelam has a 370 metres long cave passage. A wooden walkway suspended along the entire length of the well - lit passage allows visitors to view the magnificently formed stalactites and stalagmites.
Near the entrance of the cave is a recreational park. Besides having ample parking space, the park has a tourist information centre, food stalls and water sports facilities.

By Car - Sungai Congkak Recreational Forest is located in the district of Hulu Langat, Selangor. From Cheras, head north on the Hulu Langat road (B52) towards Pangsun and Dusun Tua. The Sungai Congkak Recreational Forest is about 13km down this road. Alternatively, you can also take the Ampang road towards Ampang Tasik and go uphill towards Hulu Langat.
